FIELD: mechanical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to devices for sieving, screening, separating solid materials using gas or air flows, as well as for separating bulk materials by the size of the particles they contain, and can be used in the production of wood flour, in grain processing, the chemical, mining and processing and other industries. The vibrating air separator of bulk materials contains a housing, a working body, a vibration drive, devices for entering the separated material and removing fine and coarse fractions, a fan. The working body is made in the form of one or more vertically mounted perforated cylinders, or mesh sleeves with a hole size equal to or greater than the size of the particles of the separated material, in accordance with the specified separation boundary. The vibration drive is installed in their upper part. The device for entering the separated material is made in the form of a pipe with the possibility of feeding the material to the lower part of the working body. The fan is designed to create rarefaction of air inside the housing. Mesh sleeves of the working body can be made, for example, from screen fabrics based on polyamide or polyester threads.
EFFECT: increased efficiency of separation of material particles that differ in their sizes.
