FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention is used in the field of electrical engineering for spacecraft (SC). Disclosed is a method for supplying a load with direct current in an autonomous power supply system of a spacecraft from a primary source of limited power, for example, a solar battery, and a secondary source of electricity, for example, a storage battery, which consists in stabilizing the voltage across the load with a voltage stabilizer connected between the solar battery and the load using charging devices (CDs) and discharging devices (DDs). According to the invention, independent current stabilizers (CSs) are used as part of the CD, they are controlled by on-off commands, and the total current of the CD is regulated by changing the number of activated CSs. The CSs are powered from a bus connected through diodes. The analysis of the state of charge of the battery and the setting of the charging current of the charger is performed using telemetry data on the current and voltage of the battery.
EFFECT: improving the performance and functional reliability of the power supply system (PSS) while simplifying electrical circuits.
