FIELD: building.
SUBSTANCE: fire-resistant profile structure relates to the field of building and can be used in manufacturing fire-resistant translucent profile door and window units, profile partitions, stained glass windows and atriums. The structure is manufactured based on hollow PVC profiles, the internal cavities whereof comprise a heat-compensating filling, and includes at least one fire-protective unit. The thickness of the outer walls of the cavities of the PVC profiles is no less than 2 mm. The width of the external cavities of the PVC profiles, measured perpendicular to the plane of the structure, is no more than 12 mm. The fire-resistant heat-compensating filling constitutes a material containing filler in the form of particles (granules) of pre-dehydrated silica and a binder based on water-soluble silicates. Said granules are impregnated with the binder based on water-soluble silicates and coated with a shell made of a mineral powder. The diameter of said granules is from 1 to 3 mm. Profiles of "Veka", "Brusbox", "Salamander" and similar types are used as profiles. Granules of vermiculite, thermolite (dehydrated diatomite) or tripoli, as well as other granular materials based on silica, exhibiting similar characteristics, can be used as particles of dehydrated silica.
EFFECT: fire-resistant profile structures manufactured according to the invention exhibit increased fire resistance, low manufacturing cost, manufacturability, and relatively low weight, and provide a variety of color solutions.
