SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of research of wells with working intervals of inflow or absorption, it can be used in the geophysical support of oil field development. The method for determining the interval velocity and flow rate of fluid in the well includes a series of measurements by a downhole device as it moves along the wellbore at various constant speeds, and building a graph of the dependence of the downhole device readings on the velocity of its movement based on these measurements. A hydrodynamic resistance to the flow is created by means of the downhole device packer, which provides a partial overlap of the internal section of the wellbore. The value of the pressure drop on the packer is measured using the pressure sensors of the downhole device. The measurement of the pressure drop on the packer is carried out when the downhole device moves both in the direction of flow and against the flow. Taking into account the functional dependence of the pressure drop on the packer on the velocity of the device movement ΔP=fi(Vdev), the local flow rate of fluid between the inflow/absorption intervals is determined, provided that ΔP=fi(Vdev)=0, where ΔP is the pressure drop on the device packer, Vdev is the velocity of the device movement, i=1…n is the section of the studied fluid inflow/absorption interval.
EFFECT: simplifying the technological process of well research, increasing the range of costs and expanding the range of field wells under study that have several intervals of fluid inflow/absorption.
