SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to dental devices, it is intended for use in the implementation of dental procedures. Device (1) contains a support designed to be placed in the perioral area of the patient, and contains element (10) for forming a flow of a gaseous medium that provides a barrier effect between the inner area of the patient's oral cavity and the environment outside the oral cavity. Element (10) for forming the flow is formed by at least one channel, at one of its ends containing hole (12) located outside the perioral area in front of specified support (11), and is attached to support (11) in its central section. The device can be used alone or in combination with a rubber saliva insulator.

EFFECT: use of the device allows one to prevent the passage of jets, micro-drops, drops or other particles, as well as pathogenic microorganisms from the inside of the oral cavity to the outside and vice versa, while ensuring smooth operation throughout the oral cavity.
