SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to paediatric dentistry, and aims at preventing dental caries in children in single-session oral sanitation by a single use of an antifungal preparation. A bite block is placed between the teeth of the upper and lower jaws, a mouth gag is placed and a cotton roller is placed on the side of the tongue between the lateral surface of the tongue and the teeth of the lower jaw. Teeth, gums and tongue are irrigated on one side with 1 % Candid solution, and residues of the solution are removed by means of an aspiration system. Then the bite block, the mouth gag and the cotton roll are removed. After that, similar manipulations are carried out, starting with the installation of the bite block, on the other side and, after all the manipulations, the oral cavity is flushed with a water-air system of the dental unit and water is collected from the oral cavity with a saliva ejector.

EFFECT: due to oral irrigation with antifungal agent before single-session oral hygiene, method provides high efficiency of dental caries prevention in single-session oral hygiene in children.
