FIELD: ventilation systems.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a valve for ventilation systems, namely for the protection of special equipment from shock air waves and from the penetration of a high-pressure gas-air environment containing toxic or radioactive substances. For this purpose, the valve contains a housing in which the rotary plate is located, the shell of the housing and its flanges. The plate is connected through the drive mechanism to the shaft, which is connected to the sleeve of the plate drive lever. The shaft is connected to the electric drive and the flywheel of the manual emergency drive of the plate. The housing is equipped with counter flanges connected to the housing flanges for their connection to the carrier element of the air duct. One mating flange is made with a conical socket tapering outwards. The valve body has a limiter, which is located next to the shaft, the lever sleeve has a protrusion against which the limiter rests when limiting the rotation of the shaft. Annular recesses located on the outside of the valve are made between each flange of the housing and the adjacent counter flange. The O-ring seal is fixed on the flange of the valve body. The valve plate and the valve body are heat-insulated. In each flange of the housing, in its annular recess, a heat-resistant elastic sealing ring is installed in contact with the adjacent mating flange, and next to this ring, annular grooves are made in each flange of the housing and in each mating flange, located opposite each other. A thermally expanding tape is installed in the groove of each flange of the housing, and an air cavity for the expandable tape is formed in the groove of each counter flange. The tapes are also installed in radial annular grooves on the outer side of the plate body near its end face and opposite this tape, on the pressure ring of the attachment of the ring seal of the container.
