FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to coloproctology, and can be used in the treatment of patients with disorders of the functional state of the muscles of the anal sphincter and pelvic floor, accompanied by anal incontinence. To do this, patients with identified disorders perform a set of physical exercises in a certain sequence, adding new exercises every 2 weeks.
EFFECT: method provides adequate correction of disorders of the functional state of the anal sphincter and pelvic floor muscles in patients with anal incontinence by performing a set of exercises developed by us in a certain sequence, which takes into account the need for gradual restoration of the functional state of the anal sphincter and pelvic floor muscles in patients of different age categories, with varying degrees of severity of the patients’ condition and their rehabilitation potential.
