FIELD: building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of building and can be used in construction of connection units for round pipe elements. The unit consists of a main element - a belt, and an adjoining element with a flattened end welded thereto. The connection of the elements in the area of junction is additionally reinforced by flat stiffening pieces located perpendicular to the plane of the flattened part of the adjoining element, welded along the contour of the elements with full engagement from both sides to the adjoining element, from the beginning of the flattened part thereof, and to the belt. The thickness of the stiffening piece and the legs of the welded seams are assigned according to the calculation depending on the intensity of the transmitted forces, and the width of each stiffening piece is equal to the radius of the belt.
EFFECT: increased rigidity of the connection in the transverse direction, ensured reliability and durability of the structure.
