FIELD: mechanical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to machines for compacting asphalt concrete with articulated sections. The device for locking the sections of articulated machines includes articulated sections. On the first section, on both sides, frames rotating by means of hydraulic cylinders are installed, on each of which centering conical elements with a drive for their extension, upper and lower wedge grips with a locking mechanism are mounted. On the frame of the second section, centering conical surfaces are rigidly mounted on both sides and upper and lower wedge surfaces on each side.
EFFECT: ensuring the blocking of sections of articulated machines on an unprepared surface and compensating for gaps in the elements of blocking sections.
