SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the area of service dog breeding, can be used by police canine units in training police tracking dogs in tracking heroin narcotic substance. The odour imitator of heroin narcotic substance for training service dogs contains an odourless carrier material, onto the surface whereof a solution of a scent component and neutral solvent is applied. The odour component contains ammonium acetate in the amount of 100% wt. and water used as a neutral solvent. The content of the odour component constitutes 5 to 60% by weight of the neutral solvent.
EFFECT: technical result achieved by the invention is improved quality of training dogs and reduced possible harm to the health thereof.
