FIELD: construction industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to building structures, namely to columns and racks of single-storey industrial buildings with overhead cranes, crane trestles for heavy crane load. The stepped column consists of a over-crane part with a rigidly attached under-crane part through the traverse. The over-crane part is made of a steel tubular profile of rectangular cross-section with a head and filled with concrete. In this case, the cross-section height of the over-crane part increases from the head to the traverse. The under-crane part is made of a steel box-shaped profile with rectangular traverse cross-section with a base and consists of belts and walls and is filled with concrete. The walls have a concave shape inside the column section and are united by tie pins in the middle part of the section. On the inner surfaces of the belts of the under-crane part there are stops made of segments of rod reinforcement or stud bolts.
EFFECT: reduction in material consumption and an increase in the reliability of the stepped column.
