FIELD: materials research.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to the study of materials using magnetic means, in particular to the borehole magnetic introscope. The magnetic borehole introscope contains a housing containing an electronics unit and a magnetization unit, a set of skis made with the possibility of fixing their ends on the housing, a set of magnetically sensitive sensors mounted on skis and connected to the electronics unit. Each ski is made with the possibility of fixing one end in at least two positions, and in the first position the middle part of the ski is taken away from the housing for the first distance, and in the second position the middle part of the ski is taken away from the housing for a second distance different from the first one. The magnetization unit is designed with the ability to create a magnetic field sufficient to magnetize the casing column of the well, and with the additional ability to change the parameters of the created magnetic field depending on the place of fixing the skis. The electronics unit is designed with the ability to control the magnetization unit and receive data from magnetically sensitive sensors.
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to examine casing columns of different diameters with one introscope.
