FIELD: measurement equipment.

SUBSTANCE: defect diagnosis device in the constructions made of the steel pipe, comprising GMR magnetic sensors and data processing unit, GMR sensors are placed on the boards in the form of discs mounted on a common shaft parallel. Each board taken not less than 8 bicomponent GMR sensors placed on the outer circumference of the card equidistant from each other, form a board of at least two groups, two in each board. Wherein the horizontal axis of the bicomponent GMR sensors on each of the boards are perpendicular tubing axis are coaxial and are directed to each pair of oppositely lying sensors toward one another, the vertical axis of the sensors are parallel to the axis of the tubing and parallel to one another, the vertical axis are arranged one above the other sensors to provide necessary precision are coaxial. At the end of the rod information processing unit is placed with the output connector to the control and recording devices.
