FIELD: wind energy.
SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to the rotor blade of a wind turbine and to a lightning protection system for the rotor blade of a wind turbine. Rotor blade (200) of a wind turbine is proposed, comprising lightning protection system (300), which has at least one receiver (320), lightning rod (310) and scattering ring (240). A part of lightning rod (310) is in electrical contact with scattering ring (240) by means of connecting block (400). Connecting block (400) has screw (420) having a first end with collar (421) and a second end with elongated part (422) and external thread in the area of elongated part (422), as well as nut (410) having a first end with collar (411) and a second end, having elongated part (412) and internal thread on elongated part (412). Nut (410) and screw (420) can be twisted together by means of an external thread on elongated part (422) of screw (420) and an internal thread on elongated part (412) of nut (410). Screw (420) has through channel (423). Collar (421) of screw (420) and collar (411) of nut (410) are on mutually opposite sides of connecting block (400), when screw (420) is screwed with external thread into internal thread (413) of nut (410). The ratio between the outer diameter of collars (411, 421) and the outer diameter of elongated part (412) of nut (410) is more than 3.
EFFECT: technical result of the invention is a strong connection of the elements of the lightning protection system, reduction of wear, as well as scattering large lightning currents without sparking.
