FIELD: aviation.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to de-icing means for an aircraft air intake. The method for protecting surfaces of the aircraft air intake from icing consists in heating with infrared and laser (5) emitters. Emitters are installed in air channel (2). A spot of laser radiation is moved along heated surfaces.
EFFECT: faster achievement of a temperature that prevents icing or ensures the removal of ice on protected surfaces is reached.
