FIELD: fuel industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for cleaning benzine, including the following stages: separation of benzine raw materials into a fraction of light benzine and a fraction of heavy benzine; contacting the resulting fraction of heavy benzine with a mixed catalyst and carrying out its desulfurization and aromatization in the presence of hydrogen to obtain a heavy benzine product; where the mixed catalyst contains an adsorption desulfurization catalyst and an aromatization catalyst, and the mass percentage of the aromatization catalyst in the mixed catalyst is within the range from 1 to 30% by wt., the adsorption desulfurization catalyst contains silicon dioxide, aluminum oxide, zinc oxide and metal active during desulfurization, the aromatization catalyst contains, per dry substance, from 10 to 30% by wt. of a molecular sieve, from 0 to 20% by wt. of metal oxide active during the aromatization and from 50 to 90% by wt. of the carrier per the total mass of the aromatization catalyst, and where at least approximately 50% by wt. of the aromatization catalyst is passivated and/or aged in such a way that the aromatization catalyst has a micro-activity within the range of 20 to 55.
EFFECT: decrease in sulfur and olefin in benzine and a simultaneous increase in the octane number of benzine while maintaining a high benzine yield.
