SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to a method for desulphuration of a gasoline fraction containing sulfur compounds, olefins and diolefins, involving at least the following stages: a) gasoline fractionation to recover light gasoline fraction LCN and first heavy gasoline fraction HCN; b) carrying out a first desulphurisation step for a first heavy gasoline fraction of HCN; c) partial condensation of the first desulphurised stream coming from step b) to obtain a gas phase consisting essentially of hydrogen and H2S, and a liquid hydrocarbon phase of HCN containing dissolved H2S; d) separating liquid hydrocarbon phase of HCN into intermediate gasoline fraction MCN and second heavy gasoline fraction HHCN; e) performing second desulphurisation stage of second heavy gasoline fraction HHCN.
EFFECT: technical result is obtaining, with limited loss of octane number, gasoline with low content of common sulfur, usually lower than 30 pts.wt/mln or, preferably, lower than 10 pts.wt/mln, and with very low content of recombinant mercaptans.
