FIELD: oil industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods for assessing the nature of the reservoir saturation during exploration, control over the development of oil fields and can be used in geophysical and field-geophysical studies of operating oil wells. The method according to which the temperature in the considered area of the productive formation is measured, the formation is affected, the temperature is measured at the end of the action and its change is recorded, after the first temperature measurement, acoustic pressure is created in the formation using a controlled ultrasonic transducer, the frequency of the acoustic field is changed to obtain the most effective conditions degassing oil when its wavelength satisfies the condition: λ<2πCb, where b is the characteristic size of the gas bubble, C is the coefficient of the absorption efficiency of sound waves, defined below, the temperature in the considered area of the productive formation is measured after such an action, and the oil saturation of the formation is judged by the change in temperature.
EFFECT: increasing reliability and efficiency of identifying oil-bearing and watered formations in the study of exploration and production wells.
