FIELD: shipbuilding.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of construction of landing ships-docks, more specifically to design features of their dock chambers. The dock chamber of the landing ship contains a pontoon deck that, from the aft closure of the dock to its forward transverse bulkhead, is made with an inclination that allows the ballast reception directly into the dock in the volume that is part of the hull tanks that can be occupied by other ship premises. Under the upper deck, it is also possible to organize additional ship premises while maintaining the height of the dock chamber from the pontoon deck to the additional sub-deck space, with the possibility of placing specification-floating crafts.
EFFECT: reduction of the total capacity of ballast tanks is achieved to obtain additional volumes in the dock chamber.
