FIELD: engine construction.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to engine construction. A rotary internal combustion engine (ICE) consists of a symmetrical differential gearbox, a common shaft, toroid walls, two rotors with blades, between which four working chambers are formed, two cam gear units, each of which contains a cam with an internal working surface mounted on the rotor coaxially to the common shaft, a cam with an external working surface mounted coaxially on the common shaft, a slider with fingers mounted on guides mounted on the housing of the cam gear unit, in this case, the profile of cams with an internal working surface is described by the dependence of the polar radius on the polar angle and is an equidistant, spaced by the value of the finger radius outward from the first-order derivative of the base closed curve, and the profile of cams with an external working surface is described by the dependence of the polar radius on the polar angle and is an equidistant, spaced by the value of the finger radius inward from the second-order derivative of the base closed curve. The internal combustion engine is also equipped with a device for dynamically regulating the degree of filling of the working chamber of the toroid with air or fuel-air mixture with a corresponding change in the compression ratio using a movable flap to regulate the shape of the intake window section.
EFFECT: increasing the efficiency of converting the energy of expanding gases into the rotational movement of the output shaft of the engine, increasing the reliability due to the smooth and two-flow conversion of the movement of the blades using a combined differential cam mechanism.
