FIELD: agricultural engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of agricultural engineering. The bed-forming roller contains a frame (1), a cylindrical roller (2), a tapering chute (3), a roll former (4) and a spiral roller (6) installed below the separating elevator (5). The device is additionally equipped with a sensor for determining soil density, an on-board computer for automatically setting and monitoring the adjustable vertical movement of the roller, an actuator in the form of electric cylinders fixed in brackets, and a relay for limiting the lifting of their rods.
EFFECT: reduction of losses and injury of bulbs when picking them up from rolls, as well as a decrease in the content of soil and plant impurities.
