FIELD: computer technology; communication systems.
SUBSTANCE: computer network is organized in such a way that computing nodes, including an adapter block and one or several computing modules with arithmetic processors, are arranged orthogonally from one to four dimensions. Communication between computing nodes located in the first dimension occurs using adapter blocks connected by bidirectional communication channels over a fully connected topology without the use of switch blocks. In other dimensions, computing nodes and their corresponding adapter blocks are combined using switch blocks or using switch assemblies, which are a set of switch blocks.
EFFECT: technical result is an increase in the bandwidth of the computer network by reducing its diameter.
