SUBSTANCE: invention relates to agriculture, in particular, it is aimed at controlling phytopathogenic fungi on cultivated plants. The invention relates to the application of 1-[2-[[1-(4-chlorphenyl)pyrazol-3-yl]oxymethyl]-3-methyl-phenyl]-4-methyl-tetrazol-5-one (compound I) for the control of phytopathogenic fungi, such as fungi containing a mutation in the mitochondrial cytochrome b gene that gives resistance to Qo inhibitors, where the mutation is G143A or F129L, on grain crops such as wheat and barley. The application of 1-[2-[[1-(4-chlorphenyl)pyrazol-3-yl]oxymethyl]-3-methyl-phenyl]-4-methyl-tetrazol-5-one (compound I) is possible both independently and in combination with other fungicides.

EFFECT: application of 1-[2-[[1-(4-chlorphenyl)pyrazol-3-yl]oxymethyl]-3-methyl-phenyl]-4-methyl-tetrazol-5-one (compound I) provides for high efficiency with low consumption of the active substance in the combating against pathogenic fungi such as Microduchium nivale, Blumeria graminis f. sp. tritici, Septoria tritici, Phaesphaeria nodorum or Pyrenophora tritici-repentis on wheat and Blumeria graminis f. sp. hordei, Pyrenophora teres, Ramidaria collo-cygni or Rhynchosporium secalis on barley.
