SUBSTANCE: Fresnel lens for a virtual helmet is a complex composite lens formed by a set of separate concentric zones adjacent to each other, while the cross-section of each zone has the shape of a triangle, one side of which is curved, and this cross-section is an element of the cross-section of a solid spherical lens, the other side is the transition edge section of the lens, which is inclined to the optical axis of the lens at a certain angle, while the radius of the surface of the first zone: , where L1 is the distance from the spherical surface of the first zone to the display, n is the refractive index of the material from which the lens is made, and the radii of curvature of the subsequent zones of the Fresnel lens are calculated using the system of equations given in the claims.
EFFECT: reduction of spherical aberrations.
