FIELD: wireless communication.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of mobile wireless communication devices, namely to devices with repeater functions. For high quality communication, a cell phone placed in a housing with terminal elements and equipped with an antenna contains a receiver, a transmitter, a monitoring and control unit with permanent and RAM blocks, a keyboard, a display, a power supply unit, a voice communication unit, a voice activity detector, an encryption-decryption unit, analog-to-digital and digital-to-analog converters, a speech encoder and decoder, a channel encoder and decoder, as well as an equalizer, while all its nodes and components are interconnected by a system bus consisting of a data bus, an address bus and control bus. In addition, the phone includes at least two subscriber identification modules combined into a unit connected to the controller, in turn, by means of a system bus connected to the monitoring and control unit. At the same time, the phone is equipped with a second monitoring and control unit and a second controller, and also contains a relay support unit that combines electronic identification modules for users with cellular repeater phones, a relay receiver with a receiving antenna and a relay transmitter with a transmitting antenna.
EFFECT: provision of transit communication between a subscriber located in the area of unstable information exchange, but available for radio communication with such a repeater phone, with one of the nearest base stations, including those belonging to another telecom operator, which ensures stable information exchange between subscribers located outside the coverage area of the base station or on its border, due to partial replacement of the base station and support for these subscribers of high quality communication.
