FIELD: physics.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to radio engineering, in particular to a cellular communication system and is intended to optimize operating conditions of mobile cellular radio communication. Cellular communication system comprises interconnected by short-range channels of telephone interface units, each of which includes a transceiver providing short-range wireless communication with a cellular communication concentrator, antenna with transmitter and receiver of powerful radio-frequency communication signals, which connects radio-frequency communication channel of concentrator with cellular base station; one or more interfaces for input/output of content of cellular communication concentrator with external sources/users; at that, additionally contains one or several cellular communication concentrators equipped with medium-range transceivers by means of which they are connected by medium-range radio communication channels with each other and with telephone interface units, also equipped with medium-range transceivers, wherein all components of each cellular communication concentrator are combined by common bus for communication with each other and, through one or more content input/output interfaces, with external sources/users; in addition, each cellular communication concentrator is additionally equipped with at least one antenna with a transmitter and a receiver of powerful RF communication signals connected to a common bus.

EFFECT: technical result consists in increase in throughput capacity of cellular communication system.
