FIELD: armament.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to armament, namely to a method for manufacturing a fragmentation shell, a fragmentation shell and application of a shell. The method for manufacturing the fragmentation shell is proposed, wherein the shell partially consists of specified segments, the distance between which does not exceed 100 mcm, and contains connecting jumpers between longitudinally and/or radially oriented segments following each other. The specified segments and jumpers are manufactured by means of additive technology so that the distance between segments does not exceed 100 mcm. Segments are partially connected by retention material together with the formation of the shell before it collides with the target. The fragmentation shell and its application as handgun ammunition, police ammunition, army small-caliber ammunition, hunting ammunition, mortar or artillery ammunition, as well as ammunition for shooting at underwater targets are also disclosed in the claim.
EFFECT: increased efficiency of shell application and optimization of its structure.
