FIELD: fire extinguishing equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the technique of pulsed fire extinguishing: fire engines, stationary or portable modules that increase the efficiency and scale of extinguishing by briefly, repeatedly increasing the intensity of the supply of fire extinguishing agent (EA) to the entire fire source to turn a large, continuous fire into local fire source systems, which, in the absence of damaging, thermal radiation from short distances, traditional equipment can effectively extinguish. The multi-barrel fire extinguishing module consists of a housing containing two rigidly fastened support walls with holes for barrels, in which containers containing an igniter, a blow-out charge and a sprayed composition are placed. Moreover, the containers are made in the form of a bottle containing an electric initiator, a spray charge and a wad in the form of a membrane sequentially located in the neck. In this case, the neck of the bottle is tightly placed in the channel of the breech of the barrel, and the expanding part of the bottle fits tightly to the hemispherical expanding part of the coupling. The cylindrical part of the bottle is tightly fixed in the barrel channel by at least two or three annular protrusions on the outer surface of the cylindrical part of the bottle, which increase the strength of the outer diameter of the container to prevent its rupture along the side surface in the barrel channel. The breech of the barrel is made of steel 10 and has a caliber of 96 mm and a length of 2.5-2.7 caliber. The main parts of the barrels are made of polyamide pipes with a length of at least 1.85 m, and the intervals between adjacent barrels vertically and horizontally are 60-80 mm. The breech of the barrel is rigidly connected to the transition coupling by means of at least six radially arranged screws.
EFFECT: creation of a multi-barrel fire extinguishing module with more convenient and fast reloading by improving the container and the barrel channel, as well as the stability of spraying by eliminating changes in the distances between the spray charge and the container with a fire extinguishing composition.
