FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to laboratory diagnostics, and can be used to predict the occurrence of heterotopic ossification in patients after surgical treatment of the consequences of injuries of the elbow joint. On the 1st-14th day after surgical treatment of the consequences of injuries of the elbow joint, the concentration of lactate, the activity of tartrate-resistant acid phosphatase in the blood serum, as well as the level of hemoglobin in the blood are determined. If the patient's serum lactate concentration exceeds the value of 2.32 mmol/l, and the activity of tartrate-resistant acid phosphatases in the blood serum is lower than the value of 4.4 U/l, and the blood hemoglobin is above 130 g/l, the development of heterotopic ossification is predicted.
EFFECT: method provides an increase in the quality of treatment by preventing the occurrence of unfavorable conditions for the patient and selecting individual therapeutic measures, taking into account the prognosis of the development of heterotopic ossification.
