FIELD: aviation.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of aviation, in particular to structures of drive shafts of main rotors of rotary-wing aircrafts. Main rotor shaft (2) consists of two parts and contains support shaft (13) and outer shaft (14), while outer shaft (14) made with a hollow element configuration is installed concentrically around support shaft (13) with the possibility of rotation around central axis (Z) relatively to support shaft (13). Outer shaft (14) can be functionally connected to transmission (1) of a helicopter main rotor. Support shaft (13) can be installed in a rotary-wing aircraft in a fixed position and with fixation from rotation so that outer shaft (14) can be connected to support shaft with fixation from rotation relatively to it and can be rotated by means of transmission (1) of the helicopter main rotor.
EFFECT: possibility of smooth rotation is provided during operation of the main rotor.
