SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to pharmaceutical industry, namely to a composition having hepatoprotective activity and to a medical composition. A composition is proposed containing a mixture of enriched plant extracts, while the specified enriched plant extracts contain Artemisia extract enriched with at least one polymer or biopolymer selected from Artemisia, Aloe gel powder enriched with at least one chromone selected from Aloe, and Schizandra extract enriched with at least one lignan and organic acid selected from Schizandra, which differs in that the specified mixture of Artemisia, Schizandra and Aloe leaf gel powder is a mixture in a ratio 8:4:3. A medical composition is also proposed restoring liver functions by a method selected from toxin neutralization, reduction in the free radical activity, which influence liver health, removal of oxygen active forms, reduction in oxidative stress, prevention of the formation of toxic metabolites, improvement of liver capability and/or function of detoxication, liver purification, restoration of a liver structure, protection of liver cells from toxins, assistance to flow and circulation of blood in liver, maintenance of liver function, relief of pain in liver, purification from harmful chemical compounds, maintenance of liver metabolic processes, liver discomfort relief, relief of fatty liver syndrome, improvement of liver capability of detoxication, reduction in liver enzyme levels, increase in SOD level, increase in GSH level, reduction in the level of liver cell peroxidation, reduction in the level of fatty acid accumulation, stimulation of liver cell regeneration, improvement of liver restorative function, stimulation of bile release, stimulation of healthy bile flow, liver rejuvenation, while the specified medical composition contains the above-described composition as an active ingredient.

EFFECT: above-described compositions have synergetic hepatoprotective activity and restore liver functions.
