FIELD: batteries.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to an anode comprising active anode material containing sodium, lithium, potassium or magnesium, or an alloy or composite of at least one of metals of sodium, lithium, potassium or magnesium with at least one other metal to provide ions, where the anode additionally includes at least one organosulfur compound, or the anode has been pretreated with at least one organosulfur compound, while the specified organosulfur compound is selected from a group consisting of organic polysulfide of the formula R1-S-Sn-R2, where R1 and R2 are independently a C1-C20 organic fragment, which can be linear, branched or cyclic aliphatic or aromatic, and n is an integer equal to or greater than 1, organic thiolate of the formula R1-S-M and organic polythiolate of the formula R1-S-Sn-M, where R1 is a C1-C20 organic fragment, which can be linear, branched or cyclic aliphatic or aromatic, M is lithium, sodium, quaternary ammonium, or quaternary phosphonium, and n is an integer equal to or greater than 1.
EFFECT: use of the proposed anode makes it possible to improve operational characteristics of electrochemical elements during repeated discharge and charging cycles.
