SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of electrical engineering, in particular to devices for sectioning and redundancy of power lines, and is intended for switching, protecting the electrical network and equipment of a multi-contact switching system from emergency operating modes and switching and atmospheric overvoltages, electricity metering, power quality control, quantity and time control disconnection of voltage in distribution electric networks of three-phase current. Multi-contact switching system with eight power contact groups, connected in a mixed circuit, contains eight remote control switching elements, four manual control switching elements, eight remote control switching elements control units, a data reception and transmission unit, an uninterruptible power supply unit, a multi-contact switching system control unit, four surge suppressors. Eight remote control switching elements are connected so that four remote control switching elements are bridged, the other four remote control switching elements are each installed on one of the outputs of the bridge circuit formed by the first four remote control switching elements. Also, on each of the outputs of the bridge circuit formed by the first four remote control switching elements, manual control switching elements are installed, one per output.

EFFECT: increasing the reliability of the multi-contact switching system and reducing the undersupply of electricity to consumers.
