FIELD: aviation, fire safety.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of aviation, in particular to devices of systems of special fire equipment (SSFE) of amphibious aircraft for extinguishing forest fires. In the design of the water intake system, there is a pressure of the air atmosphere in the water pipes along the entire route. The tank containers are located under the floor of the cargo part of the aircraft cabin, and the water supply pipes in them are located at a height of 82-87% of the height of the tank container. The kinetic energy of water is quenched by three grids or gratings, the ratio of cell sizes between the first grid or grating and the second as 1: (4.5-4.7), and the second and third grids or gratings as 1: (1.5-1.7). The water intakes are separated from the water pipes that exit to the bottom of the inter-step part of the fuselage (boat), they are released into the water flow behind the boat’s step, providing a ratio of the cross-sectional areas of pipelines and water as 1:(2.3-2.5).
EFFECT: fast water intake, reducing the weight of the structure, saving the resource of the water intake system and the amphibious aircraft.
