FIELD: fire protection.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of aviation, in particular to devices of special fire equipment systems of aircraft, amphibious aircraft engaged in extinguishing forest fires. The expected result is achieved by the fact that the doors of the compartments are opened to a given angle with a high angular velocity, providing the necessary consumption of extinguishing liquid within 5-10% of the time of its discharge. Then the doors of the compartments are opened with a small, almost constant angular velocity, gradually increasing the discharge area, ensuring a constant flow of extinguishing fluid for 80-90% of the time of its discharge. After that, the doors of the compartments are opened at a high angular velocity until fully opened, while quickly draining the remaining extinguishing liquid.
EFFECT: claimed invention solves the problem of reducing the unevenness of the soil coating and increasing the efficiency of using extinguishing fluid when extinguishing forest fires by aircraft.
