SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of agriculture, in particular to plant protection. In the method emulsified diesel fuel is used to affect rodents, which is obtained by intensive mixing it with water in a ratio of 1:10. Then, a semi-dry seed dressing is carried out at the rate of 10 liters of emulsified diesel fuel per 1 ton of seeds or bulbs by spraying the seeds or bulbs evenly spread on a flat surface with emulsified diesel fuel. Then they are mixed and after mixing they are again laid out evenly, sprayed with emulsified diesel fuel, mixed and dried with periodic stirring until moisture completely evaporates from the surface of the seeds or bulbs and they are sown or planted in the soil.

EFFECT: invention provides an increase in the yield of grain crops and an improvement in the quality of growing bulbous plants due to the effective protection of seed crops and planting bulbs from rodents.
