FIELD: films polarizing.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for polarizing films made of polymeric material and to a device for carrying out this method. In the method for polarizing a film of a polymer material according to the invention, the film 1, which is in contact with the surface of the grounded electrode 2, is moved at a predetermined speed relative to the corona discharge source 4, located at a predetermined distance at least over the entire surface along the width of the transported film, and is exposed to laser radiation 7 the zone of the film 1 during its movement directly in front of the corona discharge source 4 for a short-term increase in the mobility of molecular groups in the macrochains of the polymer material.
EFFECT: invention provides an increase in the efficiency of the process and its high manufacturability for a wide range of polymeric materials, as well as a decrease in the likelihood of thermal oxidative degradation of polymers.
