FIELD: coke industry.

SUBSTANCE: inventions relate to the coke-chemical industry. Described is a method for transportation of incandescent coke from coke furnaces to a coke dry quenching plant (CDQ plant), including loading incandescent coke from a coke furnace chamber to a car moved by an electric locomotive on a straight railway track along the chambers of the coke furnaces, unloading through the gate of the coke car and unloading apparatus into two fixed coke buckets located on a rotary table, lifting using a set of equipment for transportation of coke buckets, wherein, after loading the incandescent coke from the car through the unloading apparatus into the fixed coke buckets, the rotary table is first rotated to 90° around the axis along a circular guide toward a first span wherein the fixed coke buckets are covered with a cover, then the rotary table is turned around the centre to another 90°, installing the coke buckets in the first span, followed by lifting the fixed coke buckets to a level providing a possibility of moving and installing the bucket onto a transportation wagon performing reciprocating movement along the straight guiding rails in the second span towards the elevator shaft of the CDQ plant, with subsequent unloading of the incandescent coke from the buckets into the chamber of the CDQ plant. Described is a transportation complex used for the above method.

EFFECT: possibility of receiving and transferring incandescent coke from coke batteries with different typical sizes and different volumes of coking chambers at the CDQ plant; structural simplification; improvement of the operational reliability.
