FIELD: agriculture.

SUBSTANCE: unit for producing a fertiliser containing urea includes: an apparatus for producing urea, intended for producing urea using ammonia; and a scrubber with an internal space intended for bringing the waste gas of the unit for producing a fertiliser into contact with an acidic absorption liquid, wherein the waste gas comprises ammonia, the acidic absorption liquid comprises carbonic acid, wherein the unit includes a reforming apparatus intended for conducting reforming of a methane-containing gas; an apparatus for extracting carbon dioxide intended for extracting carbon dioxide formed in the reforming apparatus; and an apparatus for producing carbonic acid intended for producing carbonic acid using the extracted carbon dioxide. Proposed is a method for producing a fertiliser in order to obtain a urea-containing fertiliser using the unit.

EFFECT: inventions provides a possibility to develop a unit for producing a fertiliser and a method for producing a fertiliser, used to easily process waste gas containing ammonia, without forming ammonium sulphate.
