SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to the field of medicine, namely to therapy and neurology, it is intended for the treatment of chronic pain and/or central sensitization disorders in a subject who needs it. A pharmaceutical composition containing Human Chorionic Gonadotropin (hereinafter – HCG), including uHCG, rhCG or both, is used for the treatment of at least one of the chronic pain and central sensitization disorders in a subject who needs it. The specified composition is made in the form of dosage for storage and dosage suitable for daily injection. The HCG storage composition is stored in a container selected from a cartridge, bottle, and container. The dosage of the specified composition is therapeutically effective amount injected at dosage for daily subcutaneous injection of HCG from 120 IU/day to 170 IU/day inclusive or equivalent to it. A kit used for the treatment of at least chronic pain and central sensitization disorders is also provided.
EFFECT: use of the group of inventions provides analgesic effect, which is achieved in an extremely narrow range of low doses of HCG, as well as the effect of neuroplasticity, including a shift in the activity of ion channels, electrical signals, intracellular molecular signals, and gene transcription, and leads to an improvement in the quality of life of the subject.
