SUBSTANCE: technical solution relates to the design of continuous heat and mass transfer apparatus. In a heat and mass transfer apparatus for drying dispersed materials, the helical surface of a single-threaded auger screw, performing the function of an electrically conductive heating element, is made of mesh, while the body of the apparatus and the hollow shaft are made of dielectric material, copper tires are installed on the outer and inner ends of the single-threaded screw, and the body of the heat and mass transfer apparatus is covered with a layer of thermal insulation, while the apparatus is additionally equipped with a thermal regime control system, which includes a power supply with a magnetic contactor, a control device, a driver, temperature sensors for heating the turns of a screw, dispersed material, a drying agent at the inlet and outlet from apparatus.

EFFECT: increasing the productivity and efficiency of the drying process.
