FIELD: vehicle and infrastructure maintenance.
SUBSTANCE: usage is the prevention of the formation and the removal of ice from the external surfaces of structural elements of aircraft, wind power generators, structural elements of power lines, ships, current collectors of railway transport, etc. The heating elements are made of a polysiloxane composition that is resistant to abrasion. During the preparation process, chemical compounds are added to the composition that increase its hydrophobicity and dispersed particles of an electrically conductive material that ensure the electrical conductivity of the polysiloxane composition. The heating elements are connected in series relative to each other, and the serial connection of all the heating elements is connected in parallel to the power source and connected to the output of the switching element. A control unit is connected to the first input of the switching element, and a power source is connected to the second input of the switching element.
EFFECT: ensuring high abrasion resistance of heating elements.
