FIELD: locks.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to locking apparatuses and can be used in rim or mortice locks for doors of residential buildings, safes, etc. Hammering protection for the deadbolt of a lock consists of a body (1) of the lock with a cover, a secret cylinder mechanism installed therein and a pin frame (2). The rear upper part of the body (1) of the lock comprises an additional movable protection in the form of a vertical lower rod (4) with a bend angle of 90° and a vertical upper rod (3), fitting tightly with one of the sides thereof against the secret of the lock. Also serving as stops attached to the upper rear part of the body of the lock and preventing criminal access to the lower protection made in the form of a rigid movable stop (6) installed in the rear lower part of the body of the lock, an enveloping plate (7) is installed on the rigid movable stop in the rear lower part of the body of the lock as an additional obstacle.

EFFECT: creation of multi-level protection ensuring difficulty of unauthorised drilling and impossibility of hammering the deadbolt into the body of the lock is provided.
