SUBSTANCE: method for hair coloring includes applying to hair an amine compound selected from polydimethylsiloxanes containing side or end aminopropyl groups, bis-cetearylamodimethicone and aminoalkoxysilanes of the formula R'₁Si(OR'₂)_z(R'₃)_x, where R'₁ is C₁-C₆carbohydrate chain substituted with a group: NH₂ or NHR, R is C₁-C₄alkyl, aryl or aryloxygroup substituted with an amino group or a C₁–C₄aminoalkyl group, the R'₁ chain can be interrupted by a heteroatom (O, S, NH) or a carbonyl group (CO), R'₁ is bound to Si through a carbon atom, R'₂ and R'₃ are identical or different, linear or branched alkyl groups containing from 1-6 carbon atoms, z is an integer in the range of 1-3, x is an integer in the range of 0-2, z+x=3; and a composition containing at least one pigment and polymer of maleic anhydride and ethylene monomer obtained by polymerization of 75-90% by weight of linear or branched C₈-C₂₂alkyl(meth)acrylate bearing at least a linear or branched C₈alkyl group, and 10-25% by weight of maleic anhydride.
