SUBSTANCE: sprayer for applying pesticides in the form of foam contains a housing with a cylindrical shoulder for fastening, channels for supplying air and working fluid, a hollow chamber for a working fluid with a cover, a mixing chamber, a foaming element, a deflector. The hollow chamber is made along the generatrix of the atomizer body and is connected by radial channels with the mixing chamber, and the axes of the radial channels intersect at one point on the longitudinal line of the body. The inlet channel is made in the form of a truncated elliptical hollow cone, connected by a smaller base with the inlet of the mixing chamber, made in the form of a hollow elliptical cylinder, connected by the outlet with a foaming element made in the form of a truncated elliptical cone and filled with a material with a porous structure. The deflector is made in the form of a part of the surface of the ellipsoid of revolution.

EFFECT: proposed sprayer for applying pesticides in the form of foam provides a uniform supply of working fluid into the mixing chamber, obtaining monodisperse fine-mesh foam with high stability, preventing the loss of pesticides, reducing the risk of environmental pollution by pesticides.
