FIELD: biohydrometallurgical technology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a biohydrometallurgical technology for extracting gold from complex sulfide concentrates containing pyrrhotite, arsenopyrite, pyrite, antimonite. The strain of bacteria Thermithiobacillus tepidarius OL2018-8, which has the ability to oxidize elemental sulfur in the products of processing sulfide gold concentrates, deposited in RNCIM-13778 under registration number. Strain Thermithiobacillus tepidarius RNCIM B-13778 can be used in biotechnological processes to reduce the content of elemental sulfur in biocakes in laboratory and industrial reactors when the process is carried out in a flow-through mode in non-sterile conditions.
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to reduce the sulfur content in biocakes in laboratory and industrial reactors when carrying out the process in a flow-through mode in non-sterile conditions.
