SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of testing or adjusting watches, in particular wristwatches or pocket watches. Packing box (1) for a wrist or pocket watch contains base (20) with removable tray (30), lid (10) interacting in a reciprocal manner with base (20) to close packing box (1), while tray (30) contains cells (2) designed for placing wrist or pocket watch (1000) in them, each of which is bounded by bottom (3) and partition (5), wherein packing box (1) contains elastic pads (6) located in the center of each cell (2), pressed against wrist or pocket watch (1000) with lid (10) in the closed position; in addition, each cell of packing box (1) contains main hole (7) for passing a sensor or tool contained in device (100) used in a method for testing and/or adjusting wrist or pocket watch (1000) to wrist or pocket watch (1000) installed in cell (2), wherein each elastic pad (6) contains additional hole (8) located coaxially with main hole (7), which ensures access of the sensor and/or tool to wrist or pocket watch (1000).

EFFECT: technical result is ensuring the reliability of the results of chronometric testing while maintaining the mechanism being tested, with the provision, if possible, of automated monitoring, possibly supplemented with adjustments and labeling, while ensuring the tracking of products and the connection of the object with any tests and settings being performed.
