FIELD: aviation.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to a device and a method for verifying the reliability of a command of a process control system of an aircraft. The device contains a registration module for determining the condition of a component of a node of folding endings functionally connected to an aircraft wing, a module for working with a sequence and controlling for generating a command for control of the movement of the node of folding endings, and a dispatch module. To verify the reliability of the command of the process control system of the aircraft, the condition of the component of the node of folding endings functionally connected to the aircraft wing is determined, a flight stage of the aircraft is determined, the command for control of the movement of the node of folding endings is generated, and the reliability of the command is verified based on the specified condition and flight stage by implementation of an instruction by a processor.
EFFECT: increase in the wingspan during the flight beyond the limits of usual maximum length is achieved to decrease aerodynamic resistance and fuel consumption of the aircraft, and its decrease when landing and maneuvering in airports.
