FIELD: containers.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a container, in particular to a container with a latching lid. The container is comprised of a base and a lid latching onto the base. At least one recess is made in the side surface of the lid. The base comprises a peripheral wall with a receiving area. The receiving area has a restricting wall constituting a continuation of the peripheral wall, and a latching element containing a protrusion extends from the receiving area. At least one recess is narrowed to the bottom. The protrusion is shaped so that the protrusion is engaged with at least one recess for connecting the lid to the base. The base has a restricting wall increasing the strength of the base, thereby preventing deformation thereof.
EFFECT: creation of a container with a latching lid.
